Egekilde is natural mineral water from a spring in the forest. Egekilde comes from an underground spring in a forest in southern Zealand. It takes approx. 100 years for the running water to get through the earth and the special limestone layers. After that, the crystal clear water is retrieved from the ground and bottled. The water is carefully cleaned by filtration through the calcareous subsoil.Nature is the most important thing we have, and we must take care of it - therefore, Egekilde is CO2 neutral. Fortunately, we can all help in making a total difference to the climate by making small, thoughtful choices in everyday life. Egekilde has made its choice and has chosen to be CO2 neutral - because nature is the most important thing we have and we must not take it for granted. With our CO2 neutrality, we go in and compensate for the impact Egekilde has on the environment.
