IDEA & BACKGROUND: VHS Holiday Rewind is the latest addition to our sought-after VHS series (Very Hoppy Series). The VHS series is a range of Hazy DIPAs celebrating our love of hops and memories from simpler times. VHS Holiday Rewind is superbly balanced and features a creamy mouthfeel that serves as the perfect canvas to showcase the highly fruity Krush and Motueka hops, built on a solid Citra foundation.
APPEARANCE: Light yellow and hazy (cloudy and unfiltered).
BODY AND MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied, supported by a creamy mouthfeel from the large amount of wheat and oats in the beer. The beer is moderately carbonated to enhance its fruitiness and juiciness.
AROMA: Dominant aromas of tropical fruits such as peach, pineapple, and passion fruit from the Krush hops, supported by fresh citrus and lime notes from the Citra and Motueka hops.
TASTE: Full-bodied and hop-driven flavour with a strong fruity expression on a malt base with a hint of freshly baked light bread. Very intense tropical and citrus-forward hop flavour with a fresh yet balanced bitterness that carries through into a long finish.
FOOD MATCH: Spicy dishes (from Mexican, Asian, or Indian cuisine). The beer also pairs well with a great burger or can be enjoyed on its own with salted nuts as a snack.
