IDEA & BACKGROUND Great Grandpa is a fruity, hazy and juicy IPA with an intense aroma of sweet mandarin, citrus and tropical fruit. The beer is double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Sabro hops.
It has a creamy mouthfeel from the oats and wheat, which is balanced by a light and fresh bitterness.
APPEARANCE Yellow, unfiltered and hazy with a thick white foam.
BODY & MOUTH FEEL Creamy mouthfeel, medium body and moderate carbonation.
AROMA Intense aroma of sweet mandarin, citrus and tropical fruits. Fruity hop aroma with a light malt character in the background.
TASTE Intense, medium dry, fresh and markedly fruity taste, soft and balanced malt body. Long and very fruity hop-driven aftertaste balanced by a light bitterness which gives the beer an almost dangerously high drinkability.
