Thor Classic has a beautiful, dark, golden colour and a nice, white beer foam. The raw materials are the same as in Thor Pilsner, but the composition is different. Thor Classic is more gentle and round in taste than the Pilsner. The bitterness is toned down without compromising the distinctive Thor taste.

In 1850, a Swedish adventurer name Johan Peter Lindahl came to Randers. In addition to being delighted by travelling, he was also very fond of beer and brewing beer. So fond that he decided to build a brewery in Randers. The brewery was purchased by Christian Emil Synnestvedt when Johan Peter Lindahl travelled to the United States. The final deed was issued on July 12, 1856, which is now considered the date that Thor’s Brewery was founded.
