In addition to the strong hop character, which is the distinctive character of the IPA, this Schiøtz Golden IPA, like all Schiøtz beers, has an inspiration from the botany that gives it further flavour complexity. In addition to the three hop types (Simcoe, Citra and Pacific Gem), rosehips and rosemary are included in the recipe. An IPA caters to beer drinkers who love what the hops do for a beer. A Schiøtz Golden IPA goes just a few steps further.

- Appearance

Amber coloured with a slight red touch - the beer is filtered.

- Mouthfeel

Solid, soft and intense body, full mouthfeel with a medium carbonation.

- Scent

Powerful, fruity hop scent with a slightly spicy note, subtle malt character and an almost imperceptible herbal complexity, but no identifiable character of individual herbs.

- Taste

Crispy, dry and hop-driven flavour with light fruity touches on a solid malt background with light caramel character. A very intense, well-integrated hop flavour and bitterness that continue in the rather long, crisp and bitter aftertaste with discreet notes of complex fruit character and slightly herbal spice.
