In addition to the strong hop character, which is the IPA's distinctive feature, this Schiøtz Golden IPA, like all beers from Schiøtz, has an inspiration from botany, which gives it additional flavor complexity. In addition to the three types of hops, Simcoe, Citra and Pacific Gem, rose hips and rosemary are included in the recipe. But only so it gives a fruity and spicy nuance in the aftertaste. Appearance: Amber in color with a light touch of red – the beer is filtered.

Mouthfeel: Solid, soft and intense body, full mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

Scent: Powerful, fruity hop aroma with a slightly spicy note, discreet malt character and an almost imperceptible herbal complexity, but no identifiable hint of individual herbs.

Taste: Crisp, dry and hop-driven taste with a light fruity touch on a solid malt background with a light caramel character. A very intense, well-integrated hop flavor and bitterness that continues in the rather long, crisp and bitter aftertaste with discreet notes of complex fruit character and light herbal spicing.
