A crossover is the term used for a beer that blends two styles. Schiøtz Belgian IPA is a Belgian Blonde Ale with classic US IPA character. It offers the spicy, aromatic fruitiness of a Blonde Ale along with the distinctive hop bitterness of an India Pale Ale. In true Schiøtz fashion, we have also added a little extra from nature’s own treasure chest in the form of citrus, elderflower, and guava, giving the beer a spicy and exotic touch. Typical Schiøtz.


Appearance: Deep amber-golden colour and brilliantly filtered.


Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, gently sweet, and creamy body; lightly lively mouthfeel with relatively high carbonation.


Aroma: Highly aromatic with a pronounced hop presence, clear spicy fruit notes including citrus, spring flowers, and an exotic touch.


Taste: Lightly sweet with a distinct honey- and biscuit-like malt body and pronounced hop flavour, complemented by clear spicing and fruit notes (from both yeast and added fruit), and a firm hop bitterness. Relatively long, complex finish with sweetness, malt, and hops.
