Original Long Drink is a fresh drink made of gin and grapefruit, and it is still produced in keeping with the recipe born in 1952. Original Long Drink is handmade from start to finish. Only genuine gin made in Finland for this product is used as the basis for the beverage mix, and the best ingredients are selected manually. The gin combined with grapefruit soda creates an original taste that is not found anywhere else in the world.

Hartwall Original Long Drink is the national pride of the Finns. The transparent profile glass bottle communicates the history of the Helsinki Olympics. The bottle is designed by Tommi Särkkinen, a freelance designer from Helsinki. The new bottle highlights quality and gives value to the unique drink recipe. The shape of the bottle is inspired by the 1952 Olympic torch. The aim of the design has been to achieve a timelessly stylish but distinctive and recognizable shape for the bottle. The inspiration for the design was one of the most memorable moments of the 1952 Olympics, when Paavo Nurmi arrived at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki to light the Olympic fire.
