The Kissmeyer Icons series is meant as a retrospective salute to those beers previously launched under the Kissmeyer Beer brand that are the most iconic. The beers in the series, all originally launched between 2010 and 2016, represent a broad variety of beer styles with the common denominator that they all exhibit a highly personal and unique ‘twist’ on the base styles. The twists are different from beer to beer, but the overall characteristic is that the Icon beers are smooth, accessible and harmonious. Simply because that is how I like my beer! The Kissmeyer Stockholm Syndrome was created in 2010 as a collaboration with Sigtuna Brygghus outside Stockholm. The beer is continuously hopped with the most fruity US and New Zealand aroma hops I know of.

Appearance

Unfiltered, deep amber coloured. Rich, lasting white head.

Aroma

Tons of fruity and floral hop aromas, a touch of malt and alcohol.

Taste

Dry, very full bodied, fruity hoppy, intensely, but smoothly bitter with a long aftertaste.

Mouthfeel

Very full body, dry for style and slightly warming

Overall

An intense, full-bodied and massive double/imperial IPA, but in its young life with an explosion of fruity hop aromas and flavours, and later in life with vineous and woody complexity. Huge, but incredibly smooth and balanced bitterness, creating a lethal drinakbility!

In 2011, he was voted the best active brewer in the world, and leading Danish beer writers have called him the 3rd most significant brewer in Danish brewery history.The KISSMEYER series should be a new landmark in the forest of Craft Beers. The quality and experience of Craft Beer fluctuate tremendously, and, as a consumer, it can be a little difficult to orient yourself. Of course, it's always fun to try something new, but in the midst of all this brewery creativity, we see lighthouses popping up. These lighthouses represent a high quality that one can count on, while exploring new types of beer driven by great curiosity. KISSMEYER is such a lighthouse.To ensure that KISSMEYER will always be interesting and relevant, we have developed a number of product concepts that we will be launching continuously in the years to come.All product concepts originate from Anders Kissmeyer's personal interests and drive. Nature, experiences and relevant beer situations and, not least, all of the good brewer colleagues.
