The Good Brew series pays homage to the proud Danish beer brewing tradition from 33 local breweries, the oldest was founded in 1832. "Good Brew" was used to describe the best beers and the recipes we have been inspired by. Brewed with good ingredients, and the same craftsmanship pride as then, added to that we have learned about beer brewing since - so you can now taste the story. 1859 was created on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Albani breweries anniversary. Albani has been a part of inns, dining rooms and other fine places since 1859. We have been inspired by ours roots to this round and dark lager beer. It has many fans on Funen and throughout the country, so much so that it has been given a nickname: "One minute to seven".
