Edelweiss is named after an alpine flower that is seen as a symbol of something pure and precious. It is produced by the brewery 'Hofbräu Kaltenhausen', which is the oldest wheat beer brewery in Austria. The recipe for Edelweiss includes selected quality ingredients and water from our own mountain source.
Color and clarity: Straw-yellow color with a stable haze that comes from the wheat proteins and the yeast that is in the air.
Body and mouthfeel: Well-balanced bitterness and body like classic wheat beer.
Aroma and aroma: Unfiltered aromatic wheat beer with typical shades of herbs, orange and citrus.
