Edelweiss takes its name from an Alpine flower regarded as a symbol of purity and preciousness. It is produced by the brewery Hofbräu Kaltenhausen, the oldest wheat beer brewery in Austria. The recipe for Edelweiss includes carefully selected quality ingredients and water sourced from the brewery’s own mountain spring.


Colour and clarity: Straw-yellow colour with a stable haze derived from wheat proteins and yeast in suspension.


Body and mouthfeel: Well-balanced bitterness and body, characteristic of a classic wheat beer.


Aroma: Unfiltered, aromatic wheat beer with typical nuances of herbs, orange, and citrus. Taste: Well-balanced bitterness with a soft and fresh flavour. Refreshing finish that makes it highly drinkable.
