It started back in 1951, when Anker Pallesen had a dream to make the world's best chocolate milk! He started experimenting in his kitchen with his wife Ella. They come up with the fantastic recipe for Cocio by simply mixing three natural ingredients: milk, cocoa and sugar. Nothing else. The first canned Cocio hits the market in 1974. It may look different on the outside, but the Cocio drink inside is still just milk, cocoa and a little sugar. Cocio is now well on its way to conquering the whole world. Exports are increasing and in 2001 a brand new factory with the latest technology is built. The new factory can produce up to 800,000 cans and bottles of Cocio every single day. In 2008, Cocio is sold to Arla and big plans are being made for the company.
