It all started back in 1951, when Anker Pallesen had a dream of making the world's best chocolate milk! He began experimenting in his kitchen with his wife Ella. They found the amazing recipe for Cocio by simply blending three natural ingredients: milk, cocoa and sugar. Nothing else.The first canned Cocio was introduced to the market in 1974. It may be that its exterior looks different, but the Cocio beverage inside is still only milk, cocoa and a bit of sugar. Cocio is now well on its way to conquering the whole world. Exports are on the rise and, in 2001, a brand new factory is built with the latest technology. The new factory can produce up to 800,000 cans and bottles of Cocio every single day.In 2008, Cocio was sold to Arla and big plans are being made for the company.
