In 1971, Faxe Bryggeri introduced the product Koral Kondi. In collaboration with former national team player in football, handball and basketball, Knud Lundberg, Faxe Bryggeri invented a product that had not previously seen the light of day. Koral Kondi was introduced as a soft drink that, with its unique mixture of dextrose and lemon/lime, should not only taste good - it should also help athletes to be in top shape for their competitions. Koral Kondi was later renamed Faxe Kondi - and it is still called that today. Since Faxe Kondi's birth in the early 1970s, its unique taste and its strong positioning, especially within sports, have contributed to Faxe Kondi being Denmark's number 1 lemon/lime soda today.
