Anarchist Naked Gold is a collaboration with the authors of ‘The Naked Beer’, Christian Andersen and Jens Eiken, the largest book dedicated to Pilsner and other light lager beers. The beer draws inspiration from the fabled ‘Dortmunder Export’, a beer style invented by German brewmasters with a focus on making the perfect stronger German lager beer that should last to the export troubles of the day. We have adjusted the water to hit it real mouthfeel, used the finest malts (pilsner malt, münchner malt and wienermalt) which in this style will "jump forward" - malt forward -, updated the beer with modern German hop varieties with very low alpha acid content (Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Hallertau Callista), which gives the beer one very harmonious and soft bitterness. The bumblebees bring the Dortmund well into the present. We have also used a traditional German undergarment to be the crown of the work. Enjoy this 'naked' beer in all its simple perfection.
