IDEA & BACKGROUND: As part of our strategic collaboration with MENY and their Beer Guild, we will over the coming year produce a series of one-off brews that will be sold exclusively in MENY stores in bottles. Anarkist Vacation Forever is a nostalgic journey back to the West Coast IPAs of days gone by, with a subtle nod to contemporary trends in appearance. The classic malt bill, with a playful touch of oat malt, provides a solid backbone for the American hop varieties, delivering what seasoned beer enthusiasts would describe as “dank” and “piney” flavour notes, rounded off with a subtle citrus lift on top.
APPEARANCE: Bright and lightly hazy with a lush head.
AROMA: Complex hop aroma of citrus, pine needles, earthy notes, and grapefruit.
TASTE AND MOUTHFEEL: Bold hop character and pronounced bitterness with a light malt character in the background. Warming alcohol, lightly sparkling carbonation, and a cleansing bitterness.
FOOD MATCH: Grilled roasts and all types of BBQ. Spicy pizzas or burgers. American classics.
OVERALL: A bold and classic West Coast IPA.
