FESTBIER - SCHLAGER FEST
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 5.0% - IBU: 22 - EBC: 7
MALTS: Pilsner Malt, CaraHell, Oats, CaraMünich HOPS: Hersbrucker
Idea and Background As part of our collaboration with Meny, we have once again set out in 2024 to create 4 unique beers that capture the current trends and tendencies in Craft Beer and present them to the broad Danish public. This time, we have chosen a classic German beer style, which is particularly popular in September: Festbier, an indispensable part of Oktoberfest. Expect a beer with plenty of malt richness, perfect for drinking from large mugs.
Appearance: Barley yellow with a beautiful white foam.
Aroma: Toasted brioche and nuts, with subtle hop notes of flowers and dried herbs.
Taste and Mouthfeel: Solid malt richness with notes of toasted bread and a light nutty sweetness. The beer feels light and sparkling in the mouth, making it perfect for drinking from large mugs.
Food Match: Schnitzel, roasted chicken, and otherwise just perfect for Schlager music.
Overall: A truly well-aged festbier with great malt richness and a slightly discreet hop bitterness. A beer that calls for long tables, good music, and community

The idea behind the Anarkist series is to completely break down conventions. It is a series of beers born out of an eye for detail. We have delved into the small nuances, both in terms of brewing the beer, but also significantly in the visual expression, which is markedly different from anything else Theodor Schiøtz has previously created. Over 100 years after Theodor Schiøtz offended his last official, his spirit still lingers in the walls and in our minds. We take pride, just like him, in exceeding expectations. Theodor taught us to rebel against authorities and surpass the expected. We, who are to carry on his legacy and name, have made rebelling against the expected our mantra. The Anarchist. Our first series of brews, the Anarkist series, is directly related to the man and his fantastic attitude towards the world.
