Idea & background : At Anarkist, we love IPA, hops, and fruit. This beer combines all three elements. We have brewed an IPA where the hops provide a distinct grapefruit flavour. To enhance this, we have added pink grapefruit juice. In this way, we combine the best of two worlds: the typical notes of a classic West Coast IPA (characterised by citrus and grapefruit notes) with the floral and smooth notes of a New England IPA.
Appearance: Beautiful light pink colour with a white head.
Aroma: Clear fruity and floral hop notes leaning towards citrus and pink grapefruit peel.
Taste and mouthfeel: A refreshing and full-bodied IPA, finishing with a pleasant bitterness.
Food Match: Light fish dishes as well as Asian and Oriental cuisine.
Overall: A beautiful pink IPA with a lovely floral and grapefruit aroma. High drinkability with a pleasant bitter finish.
