Hazy Juicy DOUBLE IPA
IDEA AND BACKGROUND: After the success of Juicy Galaxy, we are once again moving into a Double IPA (DIPA). Most things have been doubled compared to a traditional hazy IPA. Brewmaster Daniel was tired of not being able to drink his own beers (due to intolerance), so the lactose has been dropped this time. More malt gives more alcohol, and more hops gives a super intense aroma that should stimulate your sense of smell and taste. Wheat and oats help to give the beer a soft and creamy body, and a light hazy look gives a juicy appearance. We have used hops from almost all over the world: German Hallertau Blanc, Australian Galaxy and American Idaho 7, Citra and Simcoe. A complex hop composition gives a complex and powerful beer full of power
APPEARANCE: Juicy yellow and hazy with a thick but quickly disappearing foam due to hop oils
FRAGRANCE: A powerhouse of aromas from stone fruits and berries to tropical fruits and citrus
TASTE AND MOUTHFULNESS: Liquor, refreshing and full flavor with notes of multijuice and sweet candy. Soft, juicy and full. A good solid sweetness supports the balanced bitterness and high mouthfeel
FOOD MATCH: Perfect for sunshine, fruit and chocolate, the picnic basket or lightly spiced grilled food such as pork, chicken and grilled spicy vegetables
ENTIRETY: A powerful but still mouthwatering IPA with low bitterness and an explosion of hop aroma

The idea behind the Anarchist series is to break down the conventions completely. It is a series of beers born out of a sense of detail. We have been down to the little details, both in relation to brewing the beer, but to a large extent also around the visual expression, which is markedly different from anything else Theodor Schiøtz has previously created. Here, over 100 years after Theodor Schiøtz insulted his last official, his spirit still sits in the walls, and in the back of our heads. Like him, we take pride in exceeding expectations. Theodor taught us to rebel against authority and exceed the expected. We, who are to carry on his legacy and name, have rebelled against what is expected of our mantra. The Anarchist. Our first series of brews, the Anarchist series, is directly related to the man and his fantastic attitude to the world.
